About Thorough Examinations

Thorough Examinations of equipment are not “insurance inspections”. Owners and users of equipment should be aware that a thorough examination of lifting equipment, pressure vessels and extraction systems is a legal requirement and without up to date examination reports, they could face legal issues and prosecution.

For a thorough examination report to be valid it must contain the words ‘Report of Thorough Examination’. A ‘report of inspection’ or a ‘service report’ may not be sufficient to satisfy the requirements of enforcing authorities.

Should you have any queries regarding the status of your current inspection reports, please do not hesitate to contact us: we will be happy to provide guidance without obligation.
